UnpredictableA Glimpse of God

A Glimpse of God

The creative genius of a man lies in the chasteness of his restlessness. This feeling of discontentment works like an enchantress on an ancient ship, pulling you towards herself but not letting you to sail.

Centuries ago, in the deserts of North Africa, people use to gather for moonlight dances of sacred dance and music. These dances would go on and on for hours and hours till dawn. The performances were always magnificent as the dancers were masters of their craft and they simply put up a terrific show. Every once in a while, very rarely, something of an uncanny nature would happen and one of the performers would become transcendent. His performance used to spell-bound the crowd; a sort of where time ceases and the dancer steps through the portal of heaven. It wasn’t something different from the thousand nights of dances he would do, but everything would poetically align and all of a sudden he would no long appear as human. He would be lit from within, lit from below and all lit up on fire with divinity. This when happened in those times, people would look with astonied gazes and they would start to chant Allah, Allah, Allah—God, God, God; that’s GOD. In 711 A.D. when the Moors invaded Southern Spain, they took this custom with them and the pronunciation changed over the centuries from Allah, Allah, Allah to Olê, Olê, Olê which we can hear in the bullfights and the flamenco dances when someone performs as magically and heavenly.**

There is a reverence to the diligence that you put on wholeheartedly to what you love doing.

The feeling of murmuring with difficulty, the closing of the throat, the twisting of mouth and the weird sort of intimacy that it has with writing is being entangled in the web where there is no escape but death. This constant battle that we have within us is nurturing the genie inside us. The genie who brings out the wizard in you to create a masterpiece. There is a reverence to the diligence that you put on wholeheartedly to what you love doing. There will be failure, accept it and move on, but don’t ever fear to fight for what you love to do, no matter what the outcome.

Every time you create or do something magnificent, the genie in you oomphs it up to become exotic.

The curse evokes when you stop nurturing your genie. You have to soak up whatever thoughts you have and the genie will help you spit it out in the most delightful way. If you are sitting bleating about the magic not happening, it never would happen unless you start sailing towards the siren.

This unimaginable source which finds you if you are looking for it is something that you love more than your ego. It’s a bliss purely born from your instincts. Every time you create or do something magnificent, the genie in you oomphs it up to become exotic. This devotion of your creative gloriousness and the genie’s oomph makes people chant Olê, Olê, Olê and they experience a glimpse of GOD.

You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, the conversation you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are the sound of the ocean, the breath of fresh air, the brightest light and the darkest corner. You are a collective of every experience you have had in your life. You are every single day. So drown yourself in a sea of knowledge and existence. Let the words run through your veins and let the colours fill your mind. This is good to see you are writing with brazen impunity and magnificently.

    • This comment I reckon is well written than the article itself. Wonderfully worded. Loved it the way you said “Let the words run through your veins and let the colours fill your mind.” Olê, Olê, Olê.. 😉
I am glad you enjoyed reading it. 😊
